Sponsor a Family For Christmas

What does it mean to sponsor a family?

When you sponsor a family, you are treating this family as if they were your own on Christmas. We ask our sponsors to provide their families with wrapped presents that they can enjoy over the holidays. You can spend as much or as little as you want!  Once approved we will provide you with an information packet that includes your family’s details and the children’s Christmas “wish list”.   To add to the excitement, you have the option of personally delivering gifts to your adopted family giving you the opportunity to meet them and personalize the entire experience.

Announcement Re: Christmas 2018

We’re sad to announce that for the first time in many years, we will not be hosting our Christmas program this year.  It was a very difficult decision as we know many of you have made our program an annual tradition for your family.  That means the world to me!  This isn’t the end of A.A.O.K., but as you know, life happens – and I’d rather not run the program this year if I can’t give it my all.

Last month my parents moved to Florida so as a family we agreed we’ll be spending the holidays there this year.  My sister is pregnant with the first of their grandchildren so it’s a holiday we certainly can’t miss.  I am recently married to an amazing woman who has a nine-year-old son…and instead of spending the holidays in Florida on the computer, I’ve decided to spend this holiday making memories with the family.

This decision was not an easy one knowing that there are thousands of family’s out there in need over the holidays.  I still want to contribute in some way, shape or form and would love for you to join me when the time comes.  Please keep in touch by joining our mailing list or following us on Facebook and we will share information about some of the other amazing organizations helping out this year or information on any an all charitable events we participate in up until the holidays.

Thank you so much for being here and wanting to participate.  I sincerely hope you find a way to fulfill your desire to help others in need this Christmas.

Until next time! Happy Holidays.
